| When can I expect you to schedule an appointment to look at my remodeling project? Generally we can look at your home improvement or home renovation project within three days of your call.
| | When can I expect to receive my estimate for the scope of work? When we meet with you to discuss the remodeling project, we will tell you exactly when you can expect the proposal to be returned. But it most often will be within three days or less.
| | How do I know if your estimate provides the same scope of work as another contractor's? If the home improvement estimate states that we will perform a task, that means we will. If it is not stated in the scope of work, then we have not included it. We give comprehensive estimates that act as a "brief back" of all items that we have discussed with you during our on-site look at the project.
| | Should we sign a contract? Yes, it is an important part of the business process that we document our mutual agreement on specific terms. It is also required by law that we provide a contract.
| | What size deposit must I pay? For smaller projects, the deposit generally will equal 60% of the total home improvement project cost. This allows us to purchase building materials, make down payments to subcontractors, and arrange work for your project.
| | How long will this job take to complete? I have heard horror stories about building contractors whose projects take months longer than they promised. You won't have to worry about crazy job overruns with us. We will give you access to our online job calendar, which guarantees you a place on the calendar and outlines each phase of your renovation project and when it is scheduled.
| | Will my property be treated with respect, or will I have to make a bunch of repairs after your crew is done? We do not believe that you can train people to be conscientious. You either have this quality, or you don't. We have it, and we will treat your property with the utmost respect.
| | What if we discover something unexpected that might increase the cost? Together with the client, we investigate any unforseen conditions, and we will mutually agree upon the course of action. We don't do the work, and then present you with a large bill at the end of the job. Instead, we work with you throughout the project to ensure that it meets your cost and quality expectations.
| | What kind of warranty do you provide? We provide a one year warranty on all installations. That said, if you call us in eighteen months, you can expect a reasonable response.
| | What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash and checks.
